My Approach

I am a Clinical Psychologist, having completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Leicester. Alongside my core training, I am a qualified EMDR therapist and an experienced autism diagnostician; two areas that have become central to my clinical practice.

I work with a wide range of psychological presentations and emotional difficulties, with a particular passion for supporting people with experiences of trauma and those who are neurodivergent. My approach is grounded in compassion, evidence-based practice, and a commitment to tailoring my work to each individual's unique needs, history, and strengths.

Whether you are seeking therapy for a specific difficulty, hoping to explore and better understand yourself, or looking for a formal autism assessment, my aim is to provide a safe, respectful, and collaborative space — one that helps you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Therapy

I offer therapy for children and adults, drawing on a range of evidence-based approaches. Rather than applying a single fixed model, I work flexibly by adapting therapy to suit each person's goals, pace, and preferences.

Therapeutic approaches I draw on include:

  • Psychodynamic Therapy
  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)
  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
  • CFT (Compassion Focused Therapy)
  • ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)
  • DBT-informed approaches (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy)

I'm happy to discuss any questions you have about these approaches to help you decide whether therapy feels like the right step.

Autism Assessments

I offer comprehensive, NICE-compliant autism assessments for adults aged 18 and over, conducted online. My interest in neurodiversity predates my specialisation, but it has become one of the central focuses of my professional practice.

Over recent years, I have worked extensively as a lead diagnostician for a major NHS-contracted provider — conducting complex autism assessments, leading clinical consensus discussions, and ensuring that every individual receives an outcome that is not only accurate but respectful of their lived experience.

My goal is to move beyond "box-ticking" and provide a process that genuinely helps clients understand their unique cognitive profiles and navigate their futures with clarity.

You can find full details of the assessment process, stages, and fees on the Autism Assessments page.
